Poleramma Temple

As his son Pothulurayya had disturbed him during his deep penance in his Sajeeva Samadhi (self-made tomb), Jagathguru Sri Madvirat Pothuluri Veerbrahmendra Swamiji ordered him to undertake deep penance for a period of 12 years. In obedience of his father’s order, he undertook deep penance on the hill near Malameedapalli. There, a girl was attending on him, doing all service sincerely. On completion of his penance, while returning to Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamiji, she also accompanied him. This girl is not an ordinary girl. She is great and a powerful person, looking in the form of an ordinary girl (Poleramma) Sri Pothulurayya looking at a nearby neem tree at the outskirts of the village, has ordered her to stay back at this tree and bless and protect the devotees that come to visit the Mattam. She followed his command and did what he ordered to. She is Poleramma, living at a distance of about one kilometer on the eastern side from the Mattam

Recently, the people of Kandimallayyapalle, under the auspices of the Endowment and Charitable Endowment Department, have renovated the temple and made it beautiful in every way. Currently, it is being worshipped by devotees as Kanuma Poleramma.

పోలేరమ్మ దేవస్థానము

జగద్గురు శ్రీ మద్విరాట్ పోతులూరి వీరబ్రహ్మేంద్రస్వాములవారు తన సజీవ సమాధి నిష్ఠకు భంగము కలిగించినందులకు కుమారుడైన పోతులూరయ్యను పన్నెండేండ్లు తపస్సు చేయవలసినదిగా ఆజ్ఞాపించారు. తన తండ్రి ఆజ్ఞను అనుసరించి మలమీది పల్లె దగ్గర కొండమీద తపస్సు చేయుచుండెను. అక్కడ ఒక బాలిక పోతులూరయ్యకు సపర్యలు చేయుచుండెను. తపస్సు పూర్తి చేసుకొని శ్రీ వీరబ్రహ్మేంద్రస్వాములవారి మఠం వచ్చుచున్న పోతులూరయ్య వెంట ఆ బాలిక కూడా వచ్చెను. ఆ బాలిక సామాన్య బాలిక కాదు. శక్తి స్వరూపిణి (పోలేరమ్మ). మఠం పొలిమేర ప్రాంతమున వున్న వేపచెట్టును చూపి ఇక్కడే నివసించి మఠంనకు వచ్చే భక్తులను కాపాడి, రక్షించవలసినదిగా పోతులూరయ్య ఆ బాలికను అజ్ఞాపించెను. ఆ బాలిక అట్లే చేసినది. ఆబాలికయే పోలేరమ్మ మఠంనకు తూర్పు దిశన ఒక కిలోమీటరు దూరములో కలదు.

ఇటీవల కందిమల్లాయ్యపల్లె పురజనులు దేవాదాయ, ధర్మాదాయ శాఖ ఆద్వర్యంలో దేవస్థానమును పునః నిర్మాణం చేసి, సర్వాంగ సుందరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దారు. ప్రస్తుతం కనుమ పోలేరమ్మగా పిలువబడుతూ భక్తులచే నీరాజనాలు అందుకుంటున్నది.

पोलेरम्मा, कंदिमल्लया पल्ले

श्री वीरब्रह्मेंद्रस्वामीजी ने अपने पुत्र पोतुलुरैय्या को अपने जीवित समाधि की निष्ठा का उल्लंघन करने के लिए बारह साल तक तपस्या करने का आदेश दिया। अपने पिता के आज्ञा का अनुसरण करते हुए मलमीदी गांव के पास एक पहाड़ी पर ध्यान कर रहे थे। वहां एक बालिका पोतुलुरैय्या की पूजा कर रही थी । पोतुलुरैया तपस्या पूरी करने के बाद श्री वीरब्रह्मेंद्रस्वामी के मठ में आ रहे थे, तब उनके साथ वह बालिका भी आई थी । वह बालिका कोई साधारण बालिका नहीं थी। वह शक्ति स्वरूपिणी, पोलरम्मा थी। पोतुलुरैय्या ने मठ के बाहरी इलाके में नीम के पेड़ की ओर इशारा किया और बालिका को वहां रहने के लिए कहकर, मठ में आने वाले भक्तों की रक्षा और रक्षा करने का आदेश दिया। उस बालिका ने उनका आदेश मान लिया । उस बालिका ने वैसे ही किया । उस बालिका पोलेरम्मा का स्थान मठ से करीब एक किलोमीटर पूर्व में है।
