The Message

Ramanujacharya, Madhvacharya, Vidyaranya, Ramananda, Chaitanya, Nanak, Basaveswara, Servajna, Vemana, Kabir, Ramadas and Tukaram - almost all these saintly personalities of India taught people the great principles of universal brotherhood.

Veerabrahmam was aware of the religious history of this country. He tasted the quintessence of all religions. Buddha, Christ and Mohammad were carefully understood by him.

Although he indulged in Sivadvaitam and Achalamatam in early days, ultimately he became an Advaitin of Universal Love.

He proclaimed that he was Brahmam himself. Brahmam is the Universal Soul that exists in all beings. In other words, it is to say that Veerabrahmam believes that all beings are Brahmams themselves. This is one way of propagating the Holy maxim of common brotherhood and the great concept of equality of all human beings.

It is from this point of view, Veerabrahmam attached great importance to social values. He stood firmly for certain fundamental values of social life, which remain valid even to this day.

The unity of all religions and philosophical systems was the foremost and the first of the social values. To this end, the prejudices based on caste and clan were declared by him as totally irrational and hence irrelevant.

In Hindu social customs widow marriage was not allowed. But in his Kalajnanam, Veerabrahmam made it very clear that widows, would in no time, become married. His foresight about widow marriages was a hint to his contemporaries to honour such marriages. In those days child marriages were also prevalent. Veerabrahmam not only condemned them, but also showed himself an example by marrying a matured girl, namely Govindamma.
