Sri Madvirat Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Biography
SWAMI SRI VEERABRAHMENDRA
A Monograph on Pothuluru Veerabrahmendra Swamy
“Uttara Desamuna Vaisya Kulamandu
Uttama Gandhokadu puttenima
Hattuga nanniyu Desamula Varanta
Sattuga poojalu Cheseruma.”
He prophesied that Gandhi would hold the spinning wheel and give great publicity to hand - spun cloth by propagating the khadi movement. It is no wonder if he. with a cotton piece in hand, turns out to be steel nail for the British and works for the common good of mankind and for universal brotherhood.
“Lokamantayunu Ekambuga Jese
Ekubatteduvadu Vacchenima
Prakatambuganu Lokambulo Tanu
Mekai nilichi Janula melenchenima.”
In another Stanza of Kalajnana, the swami could clearly visualize the day when all distinctions based on economic status, caste, creed, religion and race are wiped out and the oneness of mankind is realised when he utters the Holy maxim of Kalajnana. This particular prophecy has come true to reach this goal soon.
“Aiduvelameeda Bahudhanya lopala
Anni Jatu lokkatayyinima;
Avanilogala beeda dhanavantu lokatayye
Yogamu kuda Vacchenima.”
The Swami's prophecies are written mostly on the aspects of society, religion and culture. The most complicated concepts of philosophy and spiritualism were also written in simple and easily understandable language. The medium he chose was the spoken tongue. In other words it was all people’s language. And thus, even illiterate people are now following his thought content and assimilate its meaning.
