Papagni Mattam

                During his early days when he was a young boy, he spent his life at Papagni Mattam as an adopted son of Sri Yanamadala Veerabhojyacharyulu and Veerapapamamba and known as Veerbhotlayya. Chikkaballapur is located at a distance of about 70 kilometers from Bangalore. Papagni mattam is about 7 kilometers far away from there. On explaining to his foster mother at the age of 12 about the process of creation (and gowing of fetus etc.) he let for countrywide tour. Near Paapaagni Mattam the birth place of Papagni river. There is a beautiful place with lush greenery, fresh water flowing through canals and vast maidans with grass giving a pleasant view to see and enjoy, Every day, free food is served here. Giving respect and paying reverence to Gurus is the most sacred tradition here. The tombs of Veerabhojayyacharyulu and Veerapapamamba are built here.
